When I’m not working
When i’m not working you’ll find me out bike riding or hiking with my wonderful wife Charity and our 8 month old Goldendoodle Molly.
On vacation you’ll find us either gallivanting around Europe searching for adventure or visiting the Caribbean islands for some relaxation. Our favorite location so far is Interlaken, Switzerland where we scaled 13,500ft to the top of the Jungfrau Mountains for an experience of a life time! Our next destination is Italy.
I spend most of my spare time with Family, friends and of course Molly who are all very important to me. I cherish the moments I get to spend with my family from England who I left 5 years ago and miss very much.
Staying healthy is definitely a priority for me, I visit the gym at least 3 times a week and occasionally join a Nike+ running challenge with a group of my close friends. Every now and then I play a very competitive game of tennis with a good friend and follow up with a morning breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, toast and a lot of friendly banter which I highly look forward to.
One of the challenges for a designer is staying up to date with the latest and greatest. I stay actively involved in online communities where I am constantly learning the newest design techniques or reading about the latest gadget entering the market. I am so thankful to those who willfully share their knowledge online and dedicate their time to helping others.
Of course design is engraved on my heart and mind everywhere I go. I’m constantly inspired by architecture, artwork and the beauty of nature from place to place. Having the opportunity to travel has definitely opened my mind to different cultures and I often find myself converting elements of these experiences into my design concepts.
